I live in Okinawa, a young couple and a man I assumed was their father cut right in front of my friend and I, when I said “Hey”, they pretended to not hear me, so I told the cashier they cut, she just looked shocked and didnt say anything right away, so I got right between them and the cash register, started moving their shit out of the way, and my buddy shoved his way in front of them.
