Lola grew up in Tasmania, with the Tarkine rainforest as her backyard. She was brought up in a large family that involved Herbalists, Kinesiologists, Reflexologists and an incredibly talented bunch of Artists. Her parents were self-sufficient, growing organic produce from their backyard and allowing Lola to run wild in the bushland with her sisters and cousins. This free spirited way of living interested Lola into pursuing a career that focused on teaching others about healthy living practices and mind, body and soul nourishment. Her empathic nature led her to studying the healing benefits of natural remedies and she moved to Queensland to start her Naturopathy Course.

Lola is a fully qualified Naturopath, she completed her studies at the Endeavour College of Natural Health in 2011. Since graduating Lola has gained Naturopathic consulting experience in Queensland and Western Australia. Working in clinical environments, Lola learnt invaluable skills as a practitioner, learning how to manage and build her own practice and constantly discovering more about herself as an educator. The clinical experience helped her to grow as a practitioner and was incredibly rewarding in all aspects. However, Lola always felt there needed to be a more ‘hands on’ approach with her clients so she could empower and educate others to make healthy lifestyle choices and experience their own inherent ability to heal themselves.

Lola found that the true essence of Naturopathy needed to be delivered in the right environment. To nurture oneself physically, emotionally and spiritually it is so important to be surrounded in nature and letting the body rest and repair in a safe harmonious environment. Lola wanted to deliver naturopathic principles of healing in a natural environment, out of the office room and outside, soaking up the healing energy of the sun. These are the principles of Naturopathic Medicine that have been forgotten in westernized modern times! This is where her interest and passion for a more natural healing approach lead her to begin working in Retreat Center’s focused on detoxifying the whole body- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

In 2013 Lola spent the year backpacking around South East Asia. She was fascinated by the people, the culture and the beauty of these countries. Travelling opened her eyes to the healing practices of Eastern traditions and the more relaxed and simplified way of living. This gave her the desire to work overseas, in a country that embraced healing which lead her to the spiritual and cultural heart of Bali- Ubud.

Lola has joined the team at Natural Instinct Healing to inspire, educate and support people to achieve a healthy happy life. She is also on her own personal journey into spirituality and mind body medicine. Lola is committed to helping others to find their inner strength and to overcome any hurdles and limitations that get in the way of achieving personal success. Helping people to regain and maintain a healthy happy lifestyle is the most important philosophy Lola follows.
