A synergy of culture and class — the royal elegance of the stained glass windows, the grounding balance of the river, and the symbiotic heart of our retreat centre. The space has two adjoining bedrooms which can accommodate up to three guests in shared accommodation – with 2 x single beds (Anahata 1) and 1 x small double bed (Anahata 2).
There is one big and beautiful shared bathroom for all the Anahata Room guests, and also a secondary common toilet outside, which is shared with day guests and retreat hosts. The room is on the ground floor bordering the common area. Please note that the private shared bathroom comes off one of the bedrooms; so the adjoining bedrooms are private, however “Anahata Room 1” guest(s) need to come through the “Anahata Room 2” bedroom to access the shared bathroom.
Named after the heart chakra, Anahata actually means “un-struck” or “unhurt.” Anahata rests in the center of the chakra system, at the core of our spirit. Its name implies that deep beneath our personal stories of brokenness and the pain in our heart, wholeness, boundless love, and a wellspring of compassion reside.
